Appeal by Macky McQuilkin, a/k/a Malcolm McQuilkin from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County, rendered March 12, 1996. The appeal has not been perfected. By order to show cause dated June 29, 2006, the appellant was directed to show cause before this court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal as abandoned (see CPL 460.70[2][c]; 22 NYCRR 670.8[f]).
Upon the court's own motion and no papers having been filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the appeal is dismissed (see CPL 460.70[2][c]; 22 NYCRR 670.8[f]).
