DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by the respondent, in effect, to hold in abeyance an appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County, dated February 27, 2007, pending hearing and determination of an appeal from an order of the same court dated May 7, 2007.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition or relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is granted to the extent that the respondent's time to serve and file a brief on the appeal from the order dated February 27, 2007, is enlarged and the motion is otherwise denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that on the court's own motion, the appellant shall perfect the appeal from the order dated May 7, 2007, on or before August 15, 2007; and it is further,

ORDERED that the respondent shall serve and file its brief on the appeals from the order dated February 27, 2007, and the order dated May 7, 2007, on or before September 20, 2007; and it is further

ORDERED that the appeals will be calendared together, and will be argued or submitted on the same day.
