DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by the Law Guardian for Teena Marie F. to be relieved of an assignment to represent the child on appeals from three orders of the Family Court, Kings County, all dated January 6, 2006.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition or relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is denied, and on or before August 15, 2007, the Law Guardian for Teena Marie F. shall file a brief based upon his understanding of the child's position as of the time of their last communication. Should the Law Guardian thereafter determine that the brief does not represent the child's present position or best interests, he may seek leave to withdraw the brief and serve and file a new brief on the appeal; and it is further,

ORDERED that the reply brief, if any, shall be served and filed on or before August 30, 2007.
