| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Motion by the respondent for reinstatement as an attorney and counselor-at-law. The respondent was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on March 7, 1990. By decision and order of this court dated November 5, 2004, she was immediately suspended from the practice of law as a result of her conviction of a serious crime. By opinion and order of this court dated November 7, 2005, this court confirmed the report of the Special Referee sustaining two charges against the respondent and she was suspended from the practice of law for a period of two years, with credit for time served under the interim suspension imposed by the November 5, 2004, decision and order of this court.
Upon the papers submitted in support of the motion and the papers submitted in response thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is held in abeyance and the matter is referred to the Committee on Character and Fitness to investigate and report on the respondent's current fitness to be an attorney.
