DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION
FOR REINSTATEMENT

Motion by the respondent, Vivian L. Hausch, for reinstatement as an attorney and counselor-at-law, and application for a waiver of the requirement that she submit copies of her income tax returns in connection with her application for reinstatement. The respondent was admitted to the bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on July 30, 1986. By decision and order on motion of this court dated October 15, 2004, that branch of the Grievance Committee's motion seeking the respondent's immediate suspension was denied, the Grievance Committee was authorized to institute and prosecute a disciplinary proceeding against her, and the issues raised were referred to the Honorable Lawrence Tonetti, as Special Referee to hear and report. By opinion and order of this court dated November 21, 2006, the respondent was suspended from the practice of law for a period of six months, commencing December 21, 2006.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion for reinstatement and application for a waiver, and the papers filed in response thereto, it is

ORDERED that the application for a waiver is denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that the motion for reinstatement is held in abeyance for a period of 30 days, pending the respondent's submission of her income tax returns.
