DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by the Law Guardian for Teena Marie F. on appeals from three orders of the Family Court, Kings County, all dated January 6, 2006 (one in each proceeding), to dismiss the appeal filed under Docket No. 2006-01983 as academic, or, in the alternative, to enlarge the time to serve and file a brief.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to dismiss the appeal is held in abeyance and referred to the panel of Justices hearing the appeal for determination upon the argument or submission thereof; and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to enlarge the time to serve and file a brief is granted, the time of the Law Guardian for Teena Marie F. to serve and file a brief is enlarged until December 26, 2007, and the brief of the Law Guardian for Teena Marie F. must be served and filed on or before that date; and it is further,

ORDERED that no further enlargement of time shall be granted; and it is further,

ORDERED that the appellant's time to serve and file a reply brief is enlarged until January 10, 2008, and the reply brief must be served and filed on or before that date.
