| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Appeal by Donna C. from an order of disposition of the Family Court, Queens County, dated July 25, 2007. By order to show cause dated October 25, 2007, the parties or their attorneys were directed to show cause before this court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the above-entitled appeal on the ground that the order of disposition was entered upon the default of the appellant and no appeal lies from an order entered on the default of the appealing party (see CPLR 5511).
Upon the order to show cause and no papers having been filed in response thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeal is granted, and the appeal is dismissed, without costs or disbursements.
