DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by the appellant pro se to relieve counsel assigned to prosecute an appeal from a judgment of the County Court, Suffolk County, rendered March 8, 2006, and for the assignment of new counsel, or in the alternative, for leave to proceed pro se.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is denied without prejudice to the appellant making a motion for leave to file a supplemental pro se brief after assigned counsel perfects the appeal.
