| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Motion by the City of New York for leave to file an amicus curiae brief on an appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County, dated November 7, 2007, and for leave to participate in oral argument of the appeal. Separate motion by the Municipal Labor Committee for leave to file an amicus curiae brief.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motions, the papers filed in relation to the motion by the City of New York, and no papers having been filed in opposition or relation to the motion by the Municipal Labor Committee, it is
ORDERED that the motion by the City of New York is granted to the extent that leave to file an amicus curiae brief is granted and the motion is otherwise denied; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motion by the Municipal Labor Committee is granted; and it is further,
ORDERED that the amici curiae briefs must be served on the parties, and nine copies filed in this court on or before March 12, 2008; and it is further,
ORDERED that no oral argument by the amici curiae shall be permitted; and it is further,
ORDERED that the parties, if they be so advised, may file reply briefs to the amici curiae briefs within 10 days after service upon them of the amici curiae briefs.
