ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE

Appeal by Marlon C.-G. from an order of the Family Court, Suffolk County, dated January 22, 2008, which dismissed a petition by Daniel C.-V. to be appointed guardian of Marlon C.-G.

Now, on the court's own motion, it is

ORDERED that the parties is directed to show cause before this court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the above-captioned appeal on the ground that the appellant is not aggrieved by the order dated January 22, 2008, by filing an affirmation on that issue with the Clerk of this court on or before April 4, 2008, and serving one copy on the other parties to the proceeding; and it is further,

ORDERED that the Clerk of this court, or his designee, shall serve a copy of this order to show cause on the parties or their attorneys by regular mail.
