Appeal by Herman Sims from a judgment of the County Court, Nassau County, rendered July 13, 1990. The appeal has not been perfected. By order to show cause dated June 22, 2006, the appellant was directed to show cause before this court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal as abandoned (see CPL 460.70[2][c]; 22 NYCRR 670.8[f]) .
Now, on the court's own motion, and no papers having been filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the appeal is dismissed (see CPL 460.70[2][c]; 22 NYCRR 670.8[f]).
