| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION FOR REINSTATEMENT |
Motion by the respondent, Marie M. Humpherys, for reinstatement as an attorney and counselor-at-law. The respondent was admitted to the bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the First Judicial Department on March 4, 1985, under the name Marie Michelle Charles. By decision and order on application of this court dated December 11, 2000, the Grievance Committee for the Second and Eleventh Judicial Districts was authorized to institute and prosecute a disciplinary proceeding against her, and the matter was referred to the Honorable John J. Clabby, as Special Referee to hear and report. By opinion and order of this court dated March 4, 2002, the respondent was suspended for a period of five years, effective April 3, 2002, based on the Special Referee's report which sustained all eight charges of professional misconduct.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is denied.
