DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeal by Marlon C.-G. from an order of the Family Court, Suffolk County, dated January 22, 2008, which dismissed a petition by Daniel C.-V. to be appointed guardian of Marlon C.-G. By order to show cause dated March 14, 2008, the parties were directed to show cause before this court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the above-captioned appeal on the ground that the appellant was not aggrieved by the order dated January 22, 2008.

Upon the order to show cause and the papers filed in response thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is granted and the appeal is dismissed, without costs or disbursements.
