Application by the appellant on an appeal from an order of the County Court, Nassau County, dated May 11, 2007, for an order authorizing an alternative method of service of a decision and order on motion of this court dated March 4, 2008.
Upon the papers filed in support of the application, it is
ORDERED that the application is granted; and it is further.
ORDERED that on or before May 21, 2008, the People are directed to serve a copy of the decision and order on motion of this court dated March 4, 2008, together with a copy of their brief, on the defendant by mailing a copies of the order and the brief to him at his last known address; and it is further,
ORDERED that within 10 days after service thereof, the People shall file proof of such service in the office of the Clerk of this court.
