It is Ordered that the motion for a stay is granted on the condition that the appellant perfects the appeal by no later than the November 2008 term of this court - the filing deadline is September 9, 2008. In the event of appellant's failure to comply with the foregoing condition, the petitioner may move on five days' notice for an order vacating the stay. The appeal may proceed on the original record of the trial court and type-written briefs. The court notes that the Notice of Appeal was filed in March 2008 and yet the appellant fails to apprise the court of any steps she has taken to diligently prosecute the appeal.
