DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeals by Naiwa Y. from three orders of the Family Court, Kings County, one dated October 17, 2007, and two dated February 6, 2008, respectively. By order to show cause dated May 23, 2008, the parties or their attorneys were directed to show cause before this court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeals in the above-entitled proceeding for failure to comply with a scheduling order dated April 11, 2008. Motion by the appellant for leave to prosecute the appeals as a poor person and for the assignment of counsel.

Upon the papers filed in support of the order to show cause and the papers in response thereto, and upon the motion for leave to prosecute the appeal as a poor person and for the assignment of counsel, it is

ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeals is denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that the motion for leave to prosecute the appeals as a poor person and for the assignment of counsel is denied, with leave to renew on or before August 29, 2008, upon proper papers, including the appellant's affidavit setting forth her full financial situation including all assets, both real and personal, as well as any and all sources of income and expenses.
