DECISION & ORDER ON APPLICATION

Application by the respondent for leave to withdraw her motion for reinstatement without prejudice to renew after a period of one year. The respondent was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on April 9, 1986, under the name Elyse Hope Kovler. By opinion and order of this court dated June 23, 2003, she was suspended from the practice of law for a period of three years based upon nine charges of professional misconduct. By decision and order on motion of this court dated April 30, 2007, her motion for reinstatement was held in abeyance and the matter was referred to the Committee on Character and Fitness to investigate and report on her current fitness to be an attorney.

Upon the papers submitted in support of the application, it is

ORDERED that the application is granted without prejudice to renew after a period of one year.
