DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by Christina Brandt-Young, Esq., counsel assigned to represent the appellant on an appeal from an order of the Family Court, Queens County, dated May 16, 2008, to be relieved and for the assignment of new counsel, and for a stay of all proceedings for a period of 60 days.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is denied without prejudice to the appellant seeking leave to file a supplemental pro se brief once the appeal is perfected; and it is further,

ORDERED that the appellant's time to perfect the appeal by causing the original papers constituting the record on the appeal to be filed in the office of the Clerk of this court (see 22 NYCRR 670.9[d][2]) and by serving and filing a brief on the appeal is enlarged until March 23, 2009.
