| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Motion by the respondent for reinstatement as an attorney and counselor-at-law. The respondent was admitted to Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on July 13, 1982, under the name Sean Damien Purdy. By opinion and order of this court dated November 13, 2001, the respondent was disbarred and his name was struck from the roll of attorneys and counselors-at-law based upon his conviction of mail fraud, in violation of 18 USC §§ 1341 and 1346, a federal felony.
Upon the papers submitted in support of the motion and the papers submitted in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is denied.
We find that the respondent does not demonstrate the requisite fitness and character to practice law.
