| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Motion by Zahra Assad on appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (IDV Part), dated July 8, 2009, to relieve assigned counsel, to substitute South Brooklyn Legal Services as pro bono counsel, to continue her status as a poor person, and, in effect, to amend so much of a decision and order on motion of this court dated August 14, 2009, as conditioned a stay, upon the perfection of her appeal on or before October 13, 2009. Separate motion by assigned counsel for Zahra Assad for the same relief.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motions and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motions are granted; and it is further,
ORDERED that Alison Hart, 356 Fulton Street, Third Floor, Brooklyn, New York, assigned counsel for Zahra Assad is relieved from representing her on the appeal, and is directed to turn over all papers in the action to pro bono counsel, South Brooklyn Legal Services, Inc., 105 Court Street, Brooklyn, New York 11201, who is substituted as counsel for Zahra Assad on the appeal; and it is further,
ORDERED that Zahra Assad's poor person status is continued; and it is further,
ORDERED that so much of the decision and order on motion of this court dated August 14, 2009, as conditioned a stay, upon the perfection of Zahra Assad's appeal on or before October 13, 2009, is amended by deleting from the third and fourth decretal paragraphs the date "October 13, 2009," and substituting therefor the date "December 2, 2009".
