Separate motions by the defendant Patriot Ford and the defendant Ford Motor Company for leave to appeal to this court from an order of the Appellate Term, Second, Eleventh, and Thirteenth Judicial Districts, dated July 31, 2009, which reversed, insofar as appealed from, an order of the Civil Court of the City of New York, Queens County, entered February 28, 2008.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motions and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
