Motion by Dana Grossblatt, Esq., counsel assigned to represent the defendant in the County Court, Nassau County, to be relieved of the assignment to respond to an appeal by the People from an order of that court entered December 2, 2009.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is granted; and it is further,
ORDERED that counsel is directed to turn over all papers in the action to new counsel herein assigned; and it is further,
ORDERED that pursuant to County Law § 722 the following is assigned as attorney for the defendant to respond to the appeal from said order:

and it is further,
ORDERED that the respondent is directed to serve one copy of his brief and to file nine copies thereof; and it is further,
ORDERED that the respondent's time to serve and file a brief is enlarged until June 28, 2010, and the respondent's brief must be served and filed on or before that date.
