The People of the State of New York, Respondent, v James Alexander, Appellant.

Motion by appellant for an enlargement of time to perfect the appeal and for permission to proceed upon an abridged record on an appeal from a judgment of conviction of the Justice Court of the Town of New Castle, Westchester County, rendered January 8, 2010.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion by appellant seeking permission to proceed upon an abridged record is denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion seeking an enlargement of time to perfect the appeal is granted and the appeal shall be perfected by August 6, 2010.
