People v Osinowo, Ezekiel
It is ordered that the motion for reargument of this Court's order, dated April 26, 2010, that denied defendants motion to file late notices of appeals from two orders of protection is denied. In a criminal proceeding, an appeal lies to this court only if specifically authorized by statute. Article 450 of the Criminal Procedure Law does not contain a provision permitting an appeal by the defendant from an order of protection.
