| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Renewed motion by the respondent for reinstatement to Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law. The respondent was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on April 9, 1986, under the name Elyse Hope Kovler. By opinion and order of this court dated June 23, 2003, the respondent was suspended from the practice of law for a period of three years based upon nine charges of professional misconduct. By decision and order on motion of this court dated April 30, 2007, her first motion for reinstatement was held in abeyance and the matter was referred to the Committee on Character and Fitness to investigate and report on her current fitness to be an attorney. By decision and order on application of this court dated October 29, 2008, the respondent's application for leave to withdraw her motion was granted without prejudice to renew after a period of one year.
Upon the papers submitted in support of the motion and the papers submitted in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is held in abeyance and the matter is referred to the Committee on Character and Fitness to investigate and report on the respondent's fitness to be an attorney.
