DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

The People of the State of New York, Respondent, v William E. Lent, Jr., Appellant.

Motion by appellant pursuant to Vehicle and Traffic Law § 1808 (b) to continue a stay on an appeal from two judgments of conviction of the District Court of Nassau County, First District, rendered March 13, 2009. Separate motion by appellant to deem proper the service of the papers in support of the motion to continue the stay.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motions and no papers filed in opposition thereto, it is,

ORDERED, on the court's own motion, that the motions are consolidated for the purpose of disposition; and it is further,

ORDERED that the motions are denied.

The judgments convicting defendant of violating Vehicle and Traffic Law § 1192 (2) and Vehicle and Traffic Law § 1180 (b) have been affirmed.
