Motion by appellant for permission to file a supplemental pro se brief on an appeal from a judgment of conviction of the Criminal Court of the City of New York, Kings County, rendered December 10, 2008. Separate motion by appellant to "protest" the People's silence.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition thereto, it is,
ORDERED, on the court's own motion, that the motions by appellant are consolidated for the purpose of disposition; and it is further,
