| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Separate motions by the appellants and by the respondent Long Island Lighting Company to hold in abeyance an appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County, dated November 19, 2009, pending determination of a matter pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Application by the respondent Long Island Lighting Company pursuant to 22 NYCRR 670.8(d)(2) to enlarge the respondents' time to serve and file a brief.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motions and the application, and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motions are denied; and it is further,
ORDERED that the application is granted, the respondents' time to serve and file their briefs is enlarged until February 14, 2011, and the respondents' briefs, if any, must be served and filed on or before that date.
