DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Separate appeals by Freddie A. and Maria A. from an order of the Family Court, Richmond County, dated July 13, 2010. By order to show cause dated December 9, 2010, the parties or their attorneys were directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered relieving counsel assigned to represent the appellant Freddie A. on the ground that the attorney has been unable to contact the appellant Freddie A., and dismissing the appeal by Freddie A.

Now, on the Court's own motion, and no papers having been filed in response to the order to show cause, it is

ORDERED that the motion is granted and assigned counsel for Freddie A. is relieved of the assignment; and it is further,

ORDERED that the appeal by Freddie A. is dismissed, without costs or disbursements.
