DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeals by Andrea D. S. from two orders of the Family Court, Kings County, dated July 1, 2010, and September 1, 2010, respectively. By order to show cause dated January 26, 2011, the parties or their attorneys were directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered relieving counsel assigned by an order on certification of this Court dated December 7, 2010, to perfect the appeal on behalf of the appellant on the ground that the attorney has been unable to contact the appellant and dismissing the appeals.

Now, on the Court's own motion, and the papers filed in response to the order to show cause, it is

ORDERED that assigned counsel is relieved of the assignment; and it is further,

ORDERED that the appeals are dismissed, without costs or disbursements.
