Troy Williams, Respondent.

Motion by respondent on an appeal from an order of the Criminal Court of the City of New York, Richmond County, dated September 9, 2008, for poor person relief and the assignment of counsel.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is granted and the Legal Aid Society located at 199 Water Street, 5th Floor, New York, New York 10038 is assigned as counsel; and it is further,

ORDERED, on the court's own motion, that respondent's time to serve and file a respondent's brief is enlarged to 45 days from the date of this decision and order. Appellant, if so advised, may serve and file a reply brief within 14 days of the service of the respondent's brief.
