1992-02723 In the Matter of J. Edward Cardoso, a disbarred attorney. (Attorney Registration No. 2078145)
| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION FOR REINSTATEMENT |
Motion by J. Edward Cardoso for reinstatement as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Mr. Cardoso was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on May 12, 1982. By opinion and order of this Court dated May 31, 1994, Mr. Cardoso was disbarred based on 11 charges of professional misconduct. Mr. Cardoso was previously censured by this Court by opinion and order dated November 27, 1989 on unrelated charges of professional misconduct (see Matter of Cardoso, 152 AD2d 157).
Upon the papers filed in support of the application and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is denied.
We find that J. Edward Cardoso does not demonstrate the requisite fitness and character to practice law.
