DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeal by Shante P. from an order of the Family Court, Kings County, dated June 3, 2010. By order to show cause dated April 29, 2011, the parties or their attorneys were directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered relieving the assigned counsel for the appellant and dismissing the appeal in the above-entitled proceeding on the ground that the appellant's whereabouts were unknown and the appellant was not presently available to obey the mandate of this Court.

Now, upon the order to show cause and the papers filed in response thereto, it is

ORDERED that the appeal is dismissed, without costs or disbursements (see Matter of Gerald G. G., 46 NY2d 1036).
