DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by Stella Mednik for leave to reargue an opinion and order of this Court dated May 17, 2011, and upon reargument, to modify the discipline imposed. Ms. Mednik was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on July 27, 2005. By decision and order on application of this Court dated November 12, 2009, the Grievance Committee for the Second, Eleventh, and Thirteenth Judicial Districts was authorized to institute and prosecute a disciplinary proceeding against Ms. Mednik and the issues raised were referred to the Hon. Herbert Altman, as Special Referee to hear and report. By opinion and order dated May 17, 2011, this Court suspended Ms. Mednik from the practice of law for a period of two years, commencing June 16, 2011, based on five charges of professional misconduct.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is denied.
