The People of the State of New York, Appellant, v Raymond Michael, Respondent.

Motion by respondent on an appeal from an order of the District Court of Nassau County, First District, dated September 19, 2011, for poor person relief, the assignment of counsel and an enlargement of time to serve and file a respondent's brief.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in response thereto, it is

ORDERED that the branches of the motion seeking poor person relief and the assignment of counsel are granted and the Legal Aid Society of Nassau County is assigned as counsel; and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion seeking an enlargement of time to serve and file a respondent's brief is denied as unnecessary.
