DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by appellants for an enlargement of time to perfect an appeal from a judgment of the District Court of Nassau County, First District, entered November 5, 2010, and from an order of the same court entered December 14, 2010.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED, on the court's own motion, that the order of this court dated January 17, 2012, which dismissed the appeal, is recalled and vacated and the appeal is reinstated; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motion is granted and the appeal shall be perfected by May 4, 2012; and it is further,
ORDERED that in the event the appeal is not perfected on or before May 4, 2012, the court, on its own motion, may dismiss the appeal, or respondent may move to dismiss the appeal on three days' notice, and may serve such application in person.
