2007-04346 In the Matter of Blonde Grayson Hall, admitted as Blonde W. Grayson, a suspended attorney. (Attorney Registration No. 1973825)
| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION FOR REINSTATEMENT |
Motion by Blonde Grayson Hall for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Ms. Hall was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on January 30, 1985, under the name Blonde W. Grayson. By decision and order on motion dated October 29, 2007, this Court, on its own motion, suspended Ms. Hall pursuant to Judiciary Law § 90(4)(f) upon her conviction of a serious crime; authorized the Grievance Committee for the Second, Eleventh, and Thirteenth Judicial Districts to institute and prosecute a disciplinary proceeding against her; and referred the issues raised to the Honorable Stella Schindler, as Special Referee to hear and report. By opinion and order dated September 8, 2009, this Court suspended Ms. Hall for a time commensurate with the time elapsed since her interim suspension, with leave to apply for reinstatement immediately.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is held in abeyance and the matter is referred to the Committee on Character and Fitness to investigate and report on Blonde Grayson Hall's current fitness to be an attorney, including but not limited to, the current status of the federal and state tax liens filed against her and her compliance with the New York State Continuing Legal Education requirement pursuant to 22 NYCRR 691.11(c).
MASTRO, A.P.J., RIVERA, SKELOS, DILLON and FLORIO, JJ., concur.
