| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Motion by Mason Blake Pimsler for reargument of a decision and order on motion of this Court dated April 13, 2012, which denied his motion for reinstatement, or in the alternative, for leave to appeal to the Court of Appeals from the decision and order on motion of this Court. Mr. Pimsler was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on April 8, 1998. By decision and order on motion of this Court dated January 25, 2000, Mr. Pimsler was suspended from the practice of law pursuant to Judiciary Law § 90(4)(f) upon his conviction of a serious crime, the Grievance Committee for the Second, Eleventh, and Thirteenth Judicial Districts was authorized to institute and prosecute a disciplinary proceeding against him, and the matter was referred to the Honorable Samuel Greenstein, as Special Referee to hear and report. By opinion and order of this Court dated October 1, 2001, Mr. Pimsler was disbarred based upon four charges of professional misconduct. By decision and order on motion of this Court dated June 11, 2009, Mr. Pimsler 's first motion for reinstatement was denied. By decision and order on motion of this Court dated January 6, 2011, Mr. Pimsler's second motion for reinstatement was held in abeyance and the matter was referred to the Committee on Character and Fitness to investigate and report on his fitness to practice law, including but not limited to, business income reported on Mr. Pimsler's tax returns for the years 2000 through 2007, the nature of that business, and his employment history during the period of disbarment. By decision and order on motion of this Court dated April 13, 2012, Mr. Pimsler's second motion for reinstatement was denied.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is denied.
