2010-01810 In the Matter of Anthony C. Donofrio, an attorney and counselor-at-law. Grievance Committee for the Tenth Judicial District, petitioner; Anthony C. Donofrio, respondent. (Attorney Registration No. 2386456)
| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Motion by the respondent, inter alia, to stay so much of an opinion and order of this Court dated January 9, 2013, as suspended him from the practice of law for a period of two years, commencing February 8, 2013, so that the effective date of his suspension is extended to a later date. Pursuant to a temporary restraining order issued by this Court on February 8, 2013, the respondent's suspension was stayed pending determination of this motion. The respondent was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on December 5, 1990.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is granted to the extent that the effective date of the respondent's suspension is extended until April 22, 2013, solely for the purpose of winding down the respondent's practice with respect to existing matters and clients, and the motion is otherwise denied.
ENG, P.J., MASTRO, RIVERA, SKELOS and CHAMBERS, JJ., concur.
