The respondent was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on May 1, 1985. By decision and order on motion of this Court dated January 23, 2013, the respondent was immediately suspended from the practice of law pursuant to 22 NYCRR 691.4(l)(1)(iii).

Now, on the Court's own motion, it is

ORDERED that pursuant to 22 NYCRR 691.10(g), Kathleen Higgins, 270 Jay Street, Suite One, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11201, is hereby appointed as inventory attorney (1) to take custody of, and inventory the legal files of the respondent, Kenneth J. Gellerman, which are located at 26 Court Street, Brooklyn, N.Y.; (2) to take custody of, and safeguard, the records of any business, escrow, trust, or special account(s) of the respondent found at the foregoing premises; (3) to receive, open, and read any mail addressed to the respondent at his regular place of business; and (4) to take such other action as is deemed proper and advisable to protect the interests of the respondent's former clients in discharging the aforesaid duties.
