Motion by Michele M. Simms-Parris for permission to release escrow funds in her possession. The respondent was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on December 12, 2001. By opinion and order of this Court dated October 16, 2013, Ms. Simms-Parris was reciprocally disbarred in New York, effective immediately, based upon the discipline imposed upon her in the State of New Jersey.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is denied, without prejudice to renew in the appropriate Court pursuant to Rules of Professional Conduct (22 NYCRR 1200.0) rule 1.15.
