Motion by the attorney for the child to dismiss an appeal from an order of the Family Court, Kings County, dated September 4, 2012, on the ground that the order was entered upon the default of the appellant, or, in the alternative, to enlarge the time of the petitioner-respondent and the attorney for the child to serve and file their respective briefs.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to dismiss the appeal is denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to enlarge the time of the petitioner-respondent and the attorney for the child to serve and file their respective briefs is granted, the time of the petitioner-respondent and the attorney for the child to serve and file their respective briefs is enlarged until May 9, 2014, and the briefs of the petitioner-respondent and the attorney for the child must be served and filed on or before that date.
