Motion by appellant for a stay pending the determination of an appeal from an order of the District Court of Nassau County, First District, entered April 18, 2014. On May 6, 2014, the proceeding was discontinued in the District Court.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED, on the court's own motion, that the appeal is dismissed, as there is no longer a proceeding pending; and it is further,
ORDERED that appellant's motion is denied as academic.
