DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by the appellant on an appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Rockland County, dated January 6, 2014, inter alia, to stay enforcement of the order as well as all proceedings in an action entitled Goodman v Lempa, pending in the Supreme Court, Rockland County, under Index No. 2423/13, pending hearing and determination of the appeal.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is granted to the extent that all proceedings in the action entitled Goodman v Lempa, pending in the Supreme Court, Rockland County, under Index No. 2423/13, are stayed, and the parties shall continue to comply with provisions relating to custody, child support, and restraining orders that were in effect in the above-entitled action prior to issuance of the order dated January 6, 2014, pending hearing and determination of the appeal from that order on condition that the appeal is perfected on or before July 9, 2014, and the motion is otherwise denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that in the event the appeal is not perfected on or before July 9, 2014, the Court, on its own motion, may vacate the stay, without further notice, or the respondent may move to vacate the stay, on three days notice.
