ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE

Appeal by James E. Currie from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Nassau County, rendered November 28, 2011. By order to show cause dated May 12, 2014, the appellant was directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered vacating so much of the decision and order on motion dated March 27, 2013, as granted the branch of the appellant's motion which was for leave to proceed pro se to the extent that the appellant was granted leave to file a pro se supplemental brief, and denying that branch of the motion.

Now, upon the order to show cause and the papers filed in response thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion, inter alia, to vacate leave to file the pro se supplemental brief is denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the appellant's time to serve and file the pro se supplemental brief is enlarged until August 29, 2014, and the appellant's pro se supplemental brief shall be served and filed on or before that date; and it is further,

ORDERED that the appellant shall file nine copies of the supplemental brief and serve one copy on the District Attorney.
