DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by Steven A. Feldman to be relieved as counsel for the appellant on an appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Richmond County, dated July 30, 2013. By order to show cause dated June 16, 2014, the parties were directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal on the ground that the appeal is academic as the appellant has been released from the respondent's custody.

Now, upon the order to show cause and the papers filed in response thereto, and upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeal is granted, and the appeal is dismissed, without costs or disbursements; and it is further,

ORDERED that the motion by assigned counsel to be relieved is granted.
