| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Motion by Anthony Chike Emengo for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Mr. Emengo was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on November 29, 1995. By decision and order on application of this Court dated October 8, 2008, as amended December 12, 2008, the Grievance Committee for the Tenth Judicial District was authorized to institute and prosecute a disciplinary proceeding against respondent and the issues raised were referred to the Honorable Stanley Harwood, as Special Referee, to hear and report. By opinion and order of this Court dated May 18, 2010, this Court suspended Mr. Emengo from the practice of law for a period of two years, commencing June 18, 2010. By decision and order on motion of this Court dated October 1, 2010, Mr. Emengo's motion for reconsideration of the opinion and order dated May 18, 2010, was denied.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is denied.
We find that Anthony Chike Emengo does not demonstrate the requisite fitness and character to practice law.
