| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Motion by the respondent-appellant on an appeal from an order of the Family Court, Kings County, dated July 25, 2014, in effect, to direct the Family Court to conduct a proceeding pursuant to Family Court Act § 1028, or, in the alternative, for an expedited briefing schedule.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition and in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is, in effect, to direct the Family Court to conduct a proceeding pursuant to Family Court Act § 1028 is denied; and it is further,
ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is, in effect, for an expedited briefing schedule is granted; and it is further,
ORDERED that the respondent-appellant shall perfect the appeal on or before September 22, 2014; and it is further,
ORDERED that the petitioner-respondent shall serve and file a brief, if any, on or before October 14, 2014; and it is further,
ORDERED that the respondent-appellant shall serve and file a reply brief, if any, on or before October 24, 2014.
