| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Motion by Ruth Haas for leave to appeal to this Court from two orders of the Supreme Court, Kings County, both dated July 28, 2014, to stay enforcement of the orders, pending hearing and determination of the appeals, for poor person relief, and for the assignment of counsel.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is for leave to appeal is granted with respect to the order under Appellate Division Docket No. 2014-08070, which, inter alia, grants custody of certain of the subject children to the respondent; and it is further,
ORDERED that the branches of the motion which are for poor person relief, and for the assignment of counsel with respect to the order under Appellate Division Docket No. 2014-08070, are denied, with leave to renew on or before October 23, 2014, upon proper papers, including the appellant's affidavit setting forth the appellant's full financial situation including all assets, both real and personal, as well as any and all sources of income and expenses; and it is further,
ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is for leave to appeal is denied with respect to the order under Appellate Division Docket No. 2014-08071; and it is further,
ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the appeal purportedly taken as of right from the order under Appellate Division Docket No. 2014-08071 is dismissed, without costs or disbursements; and it is further,
ORDERED that the branches of the motion which are for poor person relief and for the assignment of counsel with respect to the order under Appellate Division Docket No. 2014-08071 are denied as academic; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motion is otherwise denied.
