DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by the appellant pro se on an appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Orange County, dated November 29, 2013, inter alia, for the assignment of counsel to prosecute the appeal, and to enlarge the time to perfect the appeal. By decision and order on motion of this Court dated March 21, 2014, the appellant was granted leave to prosecute the appeal as a poor person.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is for the assignment of counsel is granted, and pursuant to Mental Hygiene Law § 10.13(c) and County Law article 18-B, the following named attorney is assigned as counsel to prosecute the appeal:

and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to enlarge the time to perfect the appeal is granted, the appellant's time to perfect the appeal by causing the original papers constituting the record on the appeal to be filed in the office of the Clerk of this Court (see 22 NYCRR 670.9[d][2]) and by serving and filing a brief on the appeal is enlarged until December 15, 2014; and it is further,

ORDERED that the motion is otherwise denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that assigned counsel is directed to serve a copy of this decision and order on motion upon the clerk of the court from which the appeal is taken; and it is further,
